ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, (April 13, 2023) Ben Hur Construction Company, a national, integrated steel erection, fabrication and construction management leader, headquartered in St. Louis, announced today that Koray Ozgenc will join the company as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 17, 2023. He succeeds Jim Schug, who resigned in March. John Vogt, a longtime leader at Ben Hur, will continue serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of the company.
Koray Ozgenc will join Ben Hur from Clayco, where he has led the national Science and Technology Business unit since 2019. Prior to Clayco, he was instrumental in the redesign of LaGuardia Airport Terminal B in New York City, leading operations for the $4.1 billion replacement project. Ozgenc has also held senior leadership, business development, and project operation and execution roles at AdvanceTEC and Skanska USA.
